Donna Mae’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Donna Mae’s Chocolate Chip Cookies 2/3 cup extra virgin coconut oil or shortening
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups Premium Gold® Gluten Free Flax & Ancient Grains All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup nuts chopped (if desired)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cream together the shortening, butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

In medium bowl, mix together PG Gluten Free Flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly blend dry ingredients into butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chips & nuts.

Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
